Op-Docs, though short, are incredibly informative. They can give you a new perspective on some things.
One I watched, called Bike Thief, showed a social experiment in which 2 men went into broad daylight in New York City and stole a bike. It observes people's reactions to different people committing this crime and in different situations. Studying the culture of people from New York City is what interested me the most - nobody seemed to pay any mind. I recommend everyone watch this Op-Doc and compare it to what you think might happen if you see someone stealing a bike on the side of the street.
I found A Conversation With Native Americans on Race to be incredibly interesting. Considering in media you do not hear the voices of Native Americans' often, I suggest everyone view this video. The way the people in this video explain their experiences is very impacting. Having to do things like verify their Native background are things I never knew existed in the daily lives of people from other cultures. America has totally drowned out the voices of Native Americans and this Op-Doc shows that through people that have experienced it firsthand.
I totally agree with you that Native American voices are not often amplified in American media, and love that this Op-Doc shares a variety of different voices and stories. The Bike Thief was also really interesting and made me question NYC culture and norms. It makes you wonder that maybe in a fast-paced bustling city people are too wound up in their own lives to care about someone stealing a bike, or maybe it's just a normal occurrence. Either way, very engaging!

I think that what is going on in this op-doc should be talked about more! Not many people seem to look at the bigger picture when it comes to situations as the one showed in the video and I really like how you wrote about this specific op- doc to get more people's attention on it
